About

Project Cuddle is a non-profit organization that offers safe and legal alternatives to baby abandonment. We run a confidential, toll-free, 24-hour crisis hotline for scared pregnant girls and women who feel hopeless and alone. Women who feel they have no one to help them through this frightening experience of an unplanned/unwanted pregnancy.  Many of these girls and women are near there due date, hiding their pregnancy, have no plans for their babies once born, and are in need of prenatal care.  Here at Project Cuddle every pregnancy is kept confidential and we work with girls and women throughout the United States and Canada regardless of age, race, religion , sexual orientation, or HIV status.

Project Cuddle provides educational materials at no cost for schools that are interested in sharing the message with their students.  Our “Believe Campaign” helps make students aware of the options available to them other than abandonment of a baby.  Our school video features our National Spokesperson, John Stamos, as well as Denise Richards, Kristin Davis, and is being distributed across America! Project Cuddle helps frightened pregnant girls and women through difficult times. The way it works: Someone will call 1-888-628-3353 and speak with a caring volunteer, while others will email us via our web site.  Once we are contacted, we will offer ways in witch we can help. Many need guidance regarding medical care, housing, counseling. While others just need emotional support, supplies, or parenting classes. We tailor each case to the specific girl or woman as needed. Many choose adoptive families who have pre-approved home-studies. While other will get support in their decision to raise their baby in a loving environment. guidance and confidence to raise their babies. Our goal is to have each baby safe, and each birth mother proud of the decision she has made.

Project Cuddle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our crisis line was created in 1996 and is able to continue because of the generous support of donors like you.  We have a small (but mighty) staff and a large base of volunteers to keep our charity running.  Our Advisory Board and Board of Directors are all volunteers who make themselves available with open hearts when Project Cuddle needs them and we love them all dearly.

If you or someone you know could use our help or would like to donate your time or resources to Project Cuddle to help prevent baby abandonment we want to hear from you.
